Money: Banks Not Lending – 9th Feb 10

A PAC report has come out, calling on tax payer owned banks to do more to lend to small businesses. It was confirmed overnight that Toyota would be recalling their Prius model. The British Retail Consortium and accountants KPMG have released their Retail Sales Monitor, and they say it has been the worst January for 15 years. We also look at how some homeowners face higher mortgages, even though interest rates remain at record low. Finally, a conference that is the equivalent to Davos for young leaders of the future, takes place in London this week.
